An invading force from beyond the north-western opening breached Karsov's outer defenses. Valdoro sent reinforcements while Karsov regrouped, and Strigavia also remembers the invasion as having devastated its territory before Karsov repelled it.

The Karsngrad Bridge Collapse

During a festival season, a bridge collapsed in Karsngrad and trapped hundreds of travelers from multiple nations. Karsovian engineers and Ordanian officials worked together for days to rescue survivors.

1929

The Children of Grey Pass

After an avalanche cut off a Karsovian mountain settlement, Besa accepted dozens of evacuated Karsovian children for the winter. Many later returned to Karsov with lifelong affection for Besan families.

1937

The Green Procession Dispute

Besan pilgrims carried sacred ritual objects through Ordan without proper permits. Ordan confiscated several items, causing a lingering Besan belief that Ordan does not respect The Ways.

1944

The Lantern Office Raids

Ordan discovered illegal Valdorian religious offices operating in Odrava and shut them down overnight. Several priests were arrested, and Valdoro remembers the event as humiliation and religious persecution.

1949

The Three Missing Girls

Three Ordanian girls disappeared near the Strigavian border and were later returned alive by a Strigavian noble family. Strigavia refused to explain the incident, and the girls disappeared again one year later after running away from home.

1952

The Sargost Six

Ordan caught six Strigavians illegally crossing into its territory. Strigavia claimed they meant no harm and called for extradition, but Ordan executed them, making the incident controversial in both nations.

1956

The Grain Fire of Belenka

A massive fire destroyed Besa's grain stores before winter. Ordan organized emergency supply transport, preventing famine in Besa's rural communities.

1958

The Curtains

Former Karsovian army officer Adrian Velkari killed his family and took his own life after years of failed attempts to publish research on a metaphysical place he called The Curtains. His writings were dismissed as delusions, but later witnesses claimed to have visited the same place.

1968

The Black Net Year

A disastrous fishing collapse nearly broke Thalor's coastal economy. Ordan kept trade routes open and sent emergency food and medical supplies, while Besa also sent grain and preserved goods.

1969

The September Vanishings

During September 1969, up to 45 people disappeared in Sanct Valen without signs of struggle or forced entry. Witnesses repeatedly described figures walking toward Veyrwood, a nearby forest. The disappearances ended suddenly after the final case on October 1st.

1971

The Lost Procession

Valdorian missionaries went missing in the northern mountains of Strigavia and were later found dead under an avalanche. A Strigavian family performed their own rituals for the bodies, leading Valdoro to denounce the act as blasphemy and demand an apology, which Strigavia refused.

The Asterion Disappearance

The Thalorian fishing vessel Asterion vanished after leaving Telmara and was missing for more than three weeks. A strange radio transmission was then received and the vessel was later found stranded near Telmara with no trace of the crew aboard.
