May 15, 1952, marks one of the darkest events in Ordanian history. A group of six people of Strigavian origin entered Ordan illegally and were captured while occupying an abandoned building outside of the capital city.
Interrogations lead to nothing. All six prisoners refused to reveal their purpose or explain why they had crossed the border. After the arrests, the Strigavian government requested their extradition, but Ordan showed no willingness to cooperate.
Before a proper trial could take place, the Ordanian government, which at the time was still a dictatorship, ordered the prisoners' execution. The sentence was carried out in the central square of Odrava on May 15.
The decision was highly controversial and deeply damaged relations between Ordan and Strigavia. Even today, the incident remains a subject of discussion and debate.
In the final days of his life, the former dictator declared that the decision had haunted him ever since, and that he deeply regretted it.

On April 22, 1971, a small fishing vessel named Asterion left the port of Telmara, Thalor. The crew was composed of 5 Thalorians and their captain.
For three weeks, the vessel did not return. When asked, other fishing crews reported that they saw no signs of the Asterion in any of the common fishing areas.
On May 11, at 02:34 AM, the Telmara navy intercepted an emergency radio transmission. The following is the official transcript:
Asterion: “This is the Asterion, can you hear me?”
Telmara Navy: “This is the Telmara Navy. Did you say Asterion? Did I hear that correctly?”
Asterion: “We need immediate help—[interference]—repeat, we need—[interference]”
Telmara Navy: Asterion, do you copy?”
Several minutes of silence follow.
Captain Neral Voss: “This is Neral Voss, captain of the Asterion vessel. You may ignore any of the previous communications.”
Telmara Navy: “Captain, you have been at sea for more then three weeks. Do you need rescuing?”
Captain Neral Voss: “Rescue is unnecessary. We have already been saved.”
Two weeks later, a fishing boat was found stranded near Telmara and was brought back to port. No trace of the crew was found aboard. The Telmara navy later confirmed that the wreackage was the Asterion.
In 1958, a murder-suicide case caused a national scandal and captured the attention of the entire country of Karsov. On the night of February 3, former Karsovian army officer Adrian Velkari took his own life after killing his wife and two children using a firearm.
What truly fascinated the public, however, was what came to light during the investigations. Five years before the murder, Velcari had been prematurely discharged from the army. The matter was kept secret, but it appears that the reason for his discharge was related to his mental health.
Between 1955 and 1957, the former officer attempted, with little success, to publish his research on a mysterious place he called The Curtains.
According to Velcari, this place was a metaphysical reality he had managed to access during his years in the army, and had since desperately been trying to return to. His research volumes were almost universally dismissed as “incoherent ravings”, “delusions without any evidence” and “unworthy of notice.”
Despite this, in the years following the crime, several witnesses came forward claiming to have had similar experiences and to have visited that same place described by Velkari, known as The Curtains.
During September 1969, an unusual number of disappearances were reported in Sanct Valen, the capital of Valdoro. Up to 45 confirmed cases were recorded, involving people of all ages, both men and women.
The disappearances always occurred at night, with no signs of struggle or forced entry in the victim's home. The few witness statements that exist are all eerely similar: they describe seeing one or a group of individuals walking toward Veyrwood, a forest bordering the capital.
Despite the many search efforts, none of the missing people were ever found. After nearly thirty days of constant reports of disappearances, panic had spread through the city. Many residents left Sanct Valen, and a state of national emergency was declared.
The final disappearance was reported on October 1st, 1969. Then, suddenly and unexpectedly, the disappearances stopped and the city returned to normal.
To this day, no convincing explanation has ever been given for the incident.

An invading force from beyond the north-western opening breached Karsov's outer defenses. The attack became one of the most defining crises in the recorded history of the region, proving that the mountain passage could still be threatened despite generations of Karsovian vigilance.
Valdoro sent reinforcements while Karsov regrouped, helping prevent the invasion from becoming a wider catastrophe. Strigavia also remembers the event as a devastating incursion that laid waste to parts of its territory before Karsov finally repelled the attackers.

During a festival season, a bridge collapsed in Karsngrad and trapped hundreds of travelers from multiple nations. Karsovian engineers and Ordanian officials worked together for days to rescue survivors.
The event is remembered as a rare moment where military discipline and civil administration combined effectively during a regional emergency.

After an avalanche cut off a Karsovian mountain settlement, Besa accepted dozens of evacuated Karsovian children into its villages for the winter.
Many of those children later returned to Karsov with lifelong affection for the Besan families who sheltered them. The event remains one of the warmer memories between Karsov and Besa.

Besan pilgrims carried sacred ritual objects through Ordan without proper permits. Ordanian authorities confiscated several items, treating the procession as a violation of state regulation rather than a protected tradition.
The incident caused lasting resentment in Besa, where many came to believe that Ordan did not respect The Ways.

Ordan discovered illegal Valdorian religious offices operating in Odrava. The offices were shut down overnight, and several priests were arrested under Ordan's laws against organized religious activity.

Three Ordanian girls disappeared near the Strigavian border. They were later returned alive by a Strigavian noble family, but Strigavia refused to explain what had happened.
